Life flipped upside down? You aren’t alone.

Sometimes life brings unexpected challenges and we feel unmoored. Today’s message reminds us that we are never alone. Not only can we reach out to God through prayer—and experience the prayer support of our fellow believers —but we see in our Gospel lesson that Jesus prays for us, too. “I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.” (John 17:9) What an amazing message. Jesus prayed for his disciples, and for us, too. We are never alone. “All praise to Christ we bring, Our Lord who intercedes. Our great High Priest enthroned above Who knows our needs; . ..” (“ Christ Sits at God’s Right Hand, text by Stephen P.
