Prepared to Give a Defense for the Hope That is in You

Have you ever been caught unprepared? Perhaps you were a student, surprised by an unexpected or forgotten test? Or, a traveler who forgot to check the weather report and are caught without a coat or umbrella? It is good to be prepared. In this message, we are reminded that each of us is equipped to share what God has granted us in Baptism—the Hope that is found in knowing who Christ is and what He has done for us. It doesn’t take a seminary education or a debate champion. Prepared, we share through the power of the Holy Spirit: “I have hope.”
