Third Sunday in Advent 2021

When we see that God not only acts on our behalf but Himself chooses to live among us, we may -- despite the lingering shadows of sin and darkness of death -- rejoice with all our heart.

1.We rejoice, for God acts on our behalf
a.The Lord will remove His hand of judgment
b.The Lord will disperse the armies of our enemy

2.We rejoice, for God Himself chooses to live among us
a.Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!
b.He is also the head of the church, which is His body.

3.We rejoice, because of who and whose we are
a.Sing, shout, be glad – in Jesus Christ – personally
b.Daughter of Zion and Jerusalem, O Israel
