Fourth Sunday in Lent

I. Blindness, at the time of our text, had huge implications. 

A. The Blind Man’s plight 

B. The Pharisees’ reaction 

II. Jesus Sees the Blind men in our text. 

A. He sees the Physically Blind with eyes of compassion. 

B. He sees the Spiritually Blind, as well. 

III. Jesus Brings His Light to Blinded Eyes 

A. He Opens the Eyes of the Blind 

B. He pronounces the Eyes of Those Who Claim to See Apart from Him as closed. 

C. He equips His disciples for the urgency of bringing His Light to our world of influence, before night falls when such work is no longer possible.
